Saw this over at ZDnet:
A hasty move to Google Apps a “˜career-limiting move’
Perhaps the most interesting thing is that some consultancy managed to write a 55 page document on what is quite an obvious and well understood area, but I think the main points apply not only to Office (thick client) and Google Apps (web based), but to the whole area of server sided apps in general.
One of the main factors being:
>> Power users and sophisticated documents are not supported
But maybe this can change over time?

I don’t really know anything about Analysis Services, but MS have just pushed out some addins for leverageing this part of SQL2005 from Excel 2007 – Thought this might be useful to some folks (I’m thinking of Will!)

Firstly, sorry for the lack of action here, I’m working on a .Net project and that’s taking up most of my free time, I’ve also been working on a presentation I shortly to give and agian that been taking up a lot of time:
SupplyChainModellingForum
So as you might beable to guess this had a dobble intrest to me:
Office Business Applications
OBA (count the acronyms), if you can’t be asked to read it all, and i don’t blame you, basically its say use share point (shock!), and office 2007 (shock!) to build a Supply chain managment solution. Some intresting stuff, some less so, and I’d like to see the bussness that could acutally put it into practice!
