Posted on Wednesday 1 February 2006

This year the Excel users conference is coming to the uk (london). It should have course been held in Northampton - it beeing the centre of England and all that ;-).
Anyway it’s a 2 day event, the second day being more advanced that the first.

The list of speakers is quite impressive (unconfirmed):

  • Patrick O’Beirne
  • Bob Phillips
  • Nick Hodge
  • Andy Pope
  • Ken Wright
  • Simon Murphy
  • Martin Green

Dates and sites are a bit up in the air at the mo, and there is no mention of cost as yet.
Sites currently being considered

  • Ramada Ealing
  • Ambassadors in Bloomsbury, Upper Woburn Place
  • Holiday Inn Kensington, Cromwell Road
  • London Marriott Marble Arch
  • Thistle Marble Arch Bryanston Street
  • Hilton London Paddington

And i think it’s likely to go ahead in June or July.
I’ll keep my eye on this one for ya.

    Hello Ross

Thank you for helping get the word out.

London was chosen for its large user base. The cost cannot be published until the location has been booked. There is a wide variety of facility costs in London.

I am trying to find a location that will not have costs so high that they will be a prohibitive factor. If you have any suggestions, feel free to forward them to me.

I will keep you updated on the progress.
